Motorcycle Entertainment Channel | Motorcycle Reviews | New Model Launches
We are a father & son team, and are passionate about motorcycling! We look at motorcycles from an every day riders perspective. We love style, character and the cool factor, but are not power freaks, so we tend to look more at Modern Classics, Real Classics, Cruisers and anything that we think is interesting, as well as a few that we aren't 'into.' We tell you how it is, so we will point out failings (like short mudguards or fenders) and design trends that should end (like the over use of gold anodised forks).
We film using professional equipment, and with great audio, so you can HEAR the motorbikes like you were there! Our videos are cinematic, entertaining and beautifully produced. We present to camera and show the motorcycles in great detail. We also make occasional lifestyle motorcycle videos covering interesting topics.

The Bike That Sounds Like an F1 Car! Blast-From-The-Past & WIN Honda CBX1000 Super Sport from 1980
We ride the iconic, incredible, sensational 1980 Honda CBX1000 and are blown away by how great it is. Not only that, YOU can WIN this very motorcycle by clicking on the following link to The Classic Competition Company for only £2.99 (or less with our discount code MRDARCY1).
www.theclassiccompetitioncompany.com/ref/1/
We took this beautiful blast from the past motorcycle to Hambleton Hotel, in Rutland UK, and we talk about the incredible sensations this bike gives you. It sounds like an F1 car! (not the current computer game F1 cars but the real deal F1 cars from the past!). Just watch it all the way through to hear all the riding shots, throughout the video.
Have motorcycles really improved since the 1980's? Do you prefer bikes from the past, or would you rather have electronic aids, traction control, abs, modes, tft screens, catalytic converters etc?
We focus on the rider experience, and the emotive elements of this motorbike, rather than a spec-sheet review, so you can understand what this bike is like. Hear the incredible sound of the 6 cylinder, 6 carburettor engine and exhaust, with our professional sound equipment!
This is a MUST SEE for all motoring and motorcycle enthusiasts!

Great bikes! Freddie Frith in Grimsby also sold the Benelli 750 Sei.
BMW K1600 straight 6 is still being produced
It's a 4
Any Indian? ❤
Japanese styling at its best And it actually looks like a motorcycle to boot. Modes? Your right wrists, hooray!
Brought back some great memories! Had 3 in the 80's, 2 silver and 1 red/black...that you've seen photos off lol Only 1 bike I've owned since that does the same, to my neck hairs to make them stand on end since🤔 My z900rs with the 4 into 4 delkevic copy pipes. Not the same cylinder numbers but, it does sound very similar. Great video guys....safe rides to ya both....🏍...🏍...🍻🤙
Great video , I remember these from the days of old fantastic bike
The UK has lost the plot. The government does everything in its power to get people off the road pissed off with all the red tape.
Really good video Darcy. I’ve had mine for a month now and you touched on pretty much everything. I’m only 5’9” and have done some long runs on it and never get uncomfortable. My last bike was a Z900 which was amazing but the 765rs is just so good in every aspect
I’ve ridden (but only owned 5 so far) loads of different bikes from Indians to a V4 Honda VFR Interceptor (the one we all love) and this was the first bike I’ve ever cried on whilst laughing out of joy. This bike is a dream.
The best sounding CBX is the ones fitted with a 6 into 2 KERKER exhaust and then if you want to please your nabours, remove the baffles❤🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now try the bigger Kawasaki 6cyl Z1300……
Beautiful and beautiful colour too!
Now Honda is sleeping .. it wants to price everything far higher without giving that content and value. It's trying to Milk it's past.
Royal Enfield made in India you say? With each bike sold you should get a voucher for a free curry!
That baby is clean. I’d love to win that. Gonna have to check if the raffle is valid in the US.
UK only =(
My dream bike. Seriously. I'd trade both my Harleys for it.
I'd give up a testicle. Either one, don't care.
Bought one new in 1979, silver color way. Assumed it would never be surpassed in performance, I was never accused of being a forward thinker, Suzuki introduced an 1100 four very shortly after that grabbed the performance crown. No comparison in pure visual presents and sound however. Marriage in September of ‘79 did us part in order to buy a home, still consider that bike the one that got away. Rode it enough to appreciate the goodness that beautiful 6 brought to the table, the CBX was a great mix of looks, performance, reasonable handling, breaking, suspension, and all day comfort. Weight was up there a bit. Wanted to pipe it out but never got the chance, shame that; I’ll never forget the amazing torque and silky smoothness of that superlative engine, good tranny. Thanks for sharing, a time tunnel video experience for me for sure!!!
Great to hear 👍🏼
What an iconic bike. Please can you review the Honda Super 4.
If we can get hold of one we will 👍🏼
Is that paint a primer ? What do they call it ?
ADVs are just ugly bikes period, definitely the most utilitarian of motorbikes, nothing anyone lusts after, yes people can get excited about what they can do on the bike, but not the bike itself. You buy one because they are practical, just like most family sized vans and SUVs
Nice one. Another beauty is current CB1300 . Especially 30 year anniversary edition, paint job and finish is incredible.
Who wouldn’t want to ride one. Truly iconic.
Back when Honda’s weren’t boring! Nice video thank you for an enjoyable trip back in time 🙂👍
A proper bit of kit with none of the electronic nannies. A genuine muscle bike, and a beauty.
It's interesting. But, you should say who the competition is open to. What territories? Do you know what the problem with this engine? There was one flaw that owners always had an issue with.
My favourite feature is the ducktail spoiler.
A friend of mine bought one these back in 1980. Amazing machine. I currently ride a BMW K1600, also an in-line six mounted in just the same way. It’s a fantastic bike and sounds like a Ferrari when you wind it out!
Just bought one today 😊😊
Awesome, enjoy 👍🏼
Need the ol man to review the Z900rs please. We’re the same height and build and it would be super entertaining aswell. Pretty please❤
That's mental engine, l was never really fan of the back end..👍😎
I see Honda always knew how to design a fuel tank, and not be shy about its capacity, i just love them for that! A shame for the Highness/GB 350S, i really love that bike's aesthetics.
Nice to see you team up with CCC👍 look forward to seeing you review more of their bikes!
You should hear one with an aftermarket exhaust
There’s a vid of a guy balancing a coin on its edge on his CBX case. Starts it up and coin doesn’t move.
It’s very smooth
The best on this bike is the ashtray in the rear end! Like it! 😂
Hey guys this channel just gets better and better thar sound of the CBX was awesome. I remember my older brother riding out with his mate that had a CBX. My local dealership (Freedom motorcycles) has a kawasaki z1300 6 cylinder in the showroom I always drool over it 😂 Thanks for the vids love em!
Friend of mine bought one last year, genuine 4K miles, yes it was expensive, fantastic machine, yes a modern 600 would show it a clean pair of heels but that’s not what it’s about, it’s a superb piece of engineering and a very evocative motorcycle, nice review 👍
First bike I ever rode… well if you don’t count my 50cc moped. My brother bought it brand new back in the day and on several occasions, when he went out to work, I shall we say ‘borrowed it’ for a spin. Back in the day of the old paper driving licence there were no photos - I just remembered his DoB and I was away. That was me forever hooked. Would love to try it out again so may well buy a ticket or two. Who knows. Brought back some very happy memories. Thank you guys.
Imagine a 1500cc V6....
I would sell a kidney for one of these. And a lung.
Or you could win it for £2.99 😁
Life would be amazing with one lung and one kidney.
@@Isz2134 it would be even more amazing with a CBX1000
Old widow maker 😊😊😊
I have been riding five years when that beauty came out….. and as far as I can remember there were quite a few sold…. I was a firm British motorbike rider at the time moving onto BMWs but Honda was always such a groundbreaking manufacturer notably the CX 500 and the CBR 1000….. But also, Suzuki had the singing kettle as in the GT 750 two stroke triple Kawasaki and the Z1000 Also, the Suzuki katana"s absolutely incredible stunning machines…. so many bikers back then would meet outside the pubs in the countryside and race up and down the lanes
Sounds like a 2 wheeled Testarossa! 🤩
It does!
You can't beat classic motorbikes, they make you feel so alive, unlike the modern motorcycles which are so sanitized and boring that when you get off you have to check you still have a pulse. There are loads of reasonably priced classics out there, ok not the cbx1000 but plenty of other 750's or the cb900 for example which can be had for anywhere between £2000 - £4000 depending on condition. I can't imagine ever wanting to buy a new motorcycle, when there are so many great old ones still out there.
The new yet-to-be-released CB400 Four is rumored to come to Europe as well, let's keep our fingers crossed... Now, between this standard version and the full-fairing, I''m not sure which I'd prefer. I'm not sure if I enjoy that big straight six block being so large and the full-fairing version would mean this would be an amazing touring machine
I had perhaps been riding for a year when this bike came out. These days a 600-750 cc Supersport would leave it for dead but back in its day it was the fastest, quickest accelerating and most powerful stock bike you could buy - it was the first bike with an engine that produced more than 100 HP. Bikes from that era had very comfy seats.
The local Honda dealer was opposite the Technical College where we apprentices did our day release, with a Kawasaki dealer a 100 yards down the road. So our lunch times were spent browsing showrooms, imagine our reaction as 17 year olds on L plates when a red CBX1000 appeared in pride of place in our Honda dealer. 105 hp seemed unimaginable back then, it hardly registers now, even my R nineT has 110hp (at the crank) ! Quite a few years later I remember seeing one riding away from Cadwell Park at warp speed. Possibly Scottish viewers might remember the name Roy Anderson, he had a large head-on photo in his garage of himself on a CBX pulling the mother of all wheelies. Very sadly Roy lost his life in the Formula 1 TT in 1991.
I have seen a six-six....and that is WONDROUS!
The fast Honda at that time was the CB1100R(B/C/D/).
Weren't those relessed6 a couple of years (1984) later, though?
Rode both of these recently, and believe it or not , the triumph with that bit more power was encouraging me to ride in away ive been trying to get away from. Where the hunter was just perfect, out of those 2 i would go hunter , but i recently bought the Meteor 350 in Aurora Green, and over the years i have come to understand that the best bike is the bike that puts a smile on your face and makes you feel awsome , which doesn't involve anyone else's opinion 😎 good review guys as always 😎😎😎
